The India Meteorological Department has informed in its latest weather bulletin that Delhi-NCR will have light rains and extremely heavy showers is likely to continue in isolated areas of Kutch and Saurashtra. These regions could witness exceptionally heavy showers. The IMD has also issued extremely heavy rainfall red alerts for Kutch and Saurashtra, whereas an orange alert for very heavy downpours has been released for Coastal Karnataka, Odisha, and South Interior Karnataka. Delhi-NCR Weather Update The Weather Department has forecast that there will be light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning in Delhi, NCR (Noida, Farukhnagar, Faridabad, and Ballabhgarh). Traffic disruption might occur and the chance of road accidents is also high. Water logging will be there in low-lying areas as well as on the roads. Light to moderate showers are expected in Nuh, Saharanpur, Bawal, Jhajjar, Sohana, Mattanhail, Rewari,Deoband, Bhiwari, Gangoh, Tizara and Pilakhua. South Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh are expected to witness similar weather conditions on 30 and 31 August. Isolated heavy rainfall is likely to occur over Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Konkan. Isolated heavy rainfall warning for Northwest India Muzffarabad, Gilgit, Jammu Kashmir, Baltistan, and Ladakh are projected to receive isolated heavy rainfall from 29 August to 30 August. Likewise, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab may deal with similar weather patterns. Meanwhile, West Uttar Pradesh might get heavy downpours on 29 August. Intense rains alert for Southern India The Met Department has forecast isolated heavy rainfall in Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Yanam, and Interior Karnataka from 29 August and will carry on till 3 September. On the other hand, Telangana is predicted to get isolated intense heavy downpours from 30 August to 31 August.
